What it can do
Your AI’s HTML deck, rebuilt as a PowerPoint you’d swear was made by hand.
Most converters hand you a stack of flat pictures. unPaper rebuilds the deck as genuine, editable PowerPoint objects — and it does it entirely in your browser, with no document content uploaded. Here is everything it reconstructs today. The list keeps growing.
The editability ladder
Every element lands on the highest rung it can reach safely, and only ever degrades gracefully — so the deck always looks right, and as much as possible is editable.
Text
becomes real, editable text boxes
- Every heading and paragraph is a retypeable text box at its measured position.
- Fonts, sizes, weight, italics, underline, colour, letter-spacing and alignment are preserved.
- The browser's own line breaks are baked in, so a missing font can never re-flow the layout.
Lists
becomes native bullet paragraphs
- Bulleted and numbered lists arrive as real list paragraphs — press Enter and you get a new bullet.
- Custom marker glyphs keep their colour; numbered lists keep their numbering.
Tables
becomes a native PowerPoint table
- Click a cell and type; press Tab to move across — it behaves like a table you made by hand.
- Cell fills, zebra striping, borders, padding and alignment all carry over.
- Merged headers (colspan) and vertical merges (rowspan) are reconstructed faithfully.
Charts
becomes a data-editable chart with a real Excel sheet
- A chart drawn in your AI chat becomes a native chart — right-click, Edit Data, and a real spreadsheet opens.
- Bar, column, line, area, pie and doughnut, with your colours and axis scale.
- Believed to be a first for any HTML-to-PowerPoint converter.
Shapes & vectors
becomes movable shapes and recolorable artwork
- Cards, panels, bars and dividers become movable shapes with the right fill and border.
- Linear and radial gradients, rounded corners, circles and drop shadows are native.
- Simple icons become recolorable vector freeforms; richer artwork stays sharp as vector pictures.
- Diagram lines (driver trees, box links) become real PowerPoint connectors — drag a box and they re-route.
Brand & theme
becomes a deck that feels authored
- The deck's palette is written into the theme, so a shape you insert defaults to its brand — not Office blue.
- Heading and body fonts flow into the theme's font scheme.
- The background is the slide's own fill — locked, never a stray movable image; flat slides use a native colour.
The details that make it real
becomes a finished file, not an export
- Speaker notes ride along on every slide.
- Links stay clickable; document properties (title, author) are filled in.
- Exact 16:9 geometry (1280×720), pixel-faithful to the browser.
It works because the deck speaks a standard
These results are not guesswork. unPaper Slides produces a precise dialect of HTML — unPaper HTML — that is both a beautiful web document and a faithful description of a PowerPoint file. Follow the standard and the conversion is dependable, not lucky.
Everything is reconstructed locally in your browser. The HTML never leaves your computer, and the .pptx is generated on this machine.
