Company licence
A licence is required when your organisation deliberately rolls out unPaper, makes it an official shared presentation workflow, administers it company-wide, or builds shared services or multi-user automation around it.
Scope and terms are agreed on request. No public price or fixed term is offered yet.
Discuss company adoptionNeed more than the standard tool?
reHeritage GmbH can discuss company-specific templates, branding assistance, onboarding, implementation, support and controlled private deployment. Each service is scoped separately; a company licence does not include them automatically.
Privately deploying unPaper or embedding its software in another service requires a separate written agreement. Explore company adoption and deployment.
Practical questions
Can I make a deck for my employer for free?
Yes. You can use the public unPaper browser tools independently for your own work, including ongoing work for an employer or client. There is no document, conversion or time limit.
Can I put my company's logo on it?
Yes. Adding your employer's or client's branding yourself does not trigger a company licence. Commissioning reHeritage GmbH to build a custom template or provide branding assistance is a separate commercial service.
Can I present it to customers or publish it externally?
Yes. You may present, share and publish the documents you create for lawful purposes. Whether the audience is internal or external does not determine the licence.
Can I use it for paid consulting work?
Yes. You can create and deliver paid client documents. Reselling, redistributing or embedding the unPaper software or a standalone unPaper template library requires a separate agreement.
Several colleagues also use it. Do we automatically need a licence?
No. Several people independently discovering and using the public browser tools is not automatically company adoption. There is no employee-count trigger for independent use.
Our IT team permits the website. Is that company adoption?
No. Permitting access or approving an individual's use through a normal IT or security review does not by itself amount to an organised rollout.
We want to roll it out as our official presentation workflow. What changes?
That is company adoption and requires a company licence from reHeritage GmbH. A centrally organised rollout, a shared official workflow or a company-wide administered solution has commercial scope agreed on request.
We want custom templates, branding help, support or private hosting. Is that included?
Contact reHeritage GmbH to agree the required licence and service scope. Custom templates, onboarding, implementation, support and private deployment are not automatically included in a company licence. Private deployment and embedding require a separate written agreement.
Do you count users or upload documents to enforce licensing?
No. unPaper has no account or user-counting system and does not upload documents, prompts or conversions to enforce licensing. Document processing runs in your browser. Companies agree their commercial scope directly with reHeritage GmbH. Content you deliberately paste into your chosen AI is handled under that AI provider's terms.
Your documents remain yours to use and share for lawful purposes. The software, standalone templates and unPaper branding have separate rights. See the Terms of Use; published command-line packages retain the licence distributed with each release.
