un

Ownership, in practice

Your deck belongs
with you.

You keep the files. You choose where to store them, who to share them with and how to continue the work. Your saved deck does not need an unPaper account or a connection to our website to open.

Yours to keep

Your work. Your files. Your next move.

Keep your deck in your own files. Continue in PowerPoint, share it with colleagues, or return to the HTML source for your next AI revision.

PowerPoint · keep working

An editable .pptx for the tools and people you already work with.

HTML · keep the source

A self-contained source file you can open in a browser and revise with your chosen AI.

What to save, and why

Save the right file for the next job

FileUse it forRemember
PowerPoint (.pptx)Everyday editing, colleague handoff and presenting.Check conversion warnings and the result in PowerPoint; some visuals may be images.
HTML (.html)Opening in a browser and future revisions with your chosen AI.Keep a fresh copy after changes. Your AI sees the material you send to it.
PDF (.pdf)A fixed reading or sharing copy.Keep the HTML or PowerPoint too if you will need to edit.
Project backup (.unpaper.json)Returning to an unPaper editing project with its comments and edit history.A project backup is different from the portable HTML source. Download it separately when needed.

A simple habit: keep a matching pair

Save board-update-v2.pptx beside board-update-v2.html. Editing one does not automatically update the other. If the PowerPoint becomes your latest version, import it again when you need to return to the AI workflow.

My decks and version history help you continue in the same browser. Browser data can be cleared. Download your important files to storage you control, and back them up there.

Prove it with a practice deck

Edit the sample, export PowerPoint and download HTML. Close the unPaper tab and open both saved files. You can keep using them independently.
