unPaper AI is a website that gives you a ready-to-copy prompt for creating slides. Open your existing approved AI tool separately, brainstorm your presentation, then paste the instructions there. Use the HTML deck it creates directly, or return to unPaper to edit it and optionally export PDF or PowerPoint.
unPaper has no built-in AI, model selector or connection to your AI tool. You copy and paste between the two. Your prompts, documents and slides are never uploaded to our servers.

Open any AI tool you already use at work and are permitted to use for this material, separately from unPaper. First brainstorm your presentation there to build the context. Then paste the instructions copied from unPaper. Your AI creates the HTML slides.

The difference is the data path
Keep working in the AI your organization already approved.
A hosted AI slide generator needs your content to generate the deck. unPaper gives you instructions to take into your existing AI tool. You add your presentation content directly in that tool, and it generates the slides there.
You decide which of the AI tools already approved by your organization to paste the prompt into. This happens outside unPaper, in that tool’s own interface. unPaper does not select a model, send the prompt or run the AI for you.
Use your existing AI tool only when it is permitted for this particular data and task. Whether you open an enterprise cloud assistant, an internally hosted model or a local model, the same copy-and-paste workflow applies. Material you paste into a cloud assistant goes to that provider under your organization's existing arrangements.
This architecture avoids a new content-processing service. It does not grant automatic company approval: your organization's software, website and deployment policies still apply.

The website and its tools
Your browser downloads the website, templates and the code for editing and PowerPoint conversion. Your laptop runs that code locally. No installation needed.

None of your work
No prompts, documents or slides are sent back. Our servers deliver the tools; they do not receive, store or process your presentation content. Loading the website creates ordinary access logs, and cookie-free analytics records aggregate page visits.
With you → under your control
Your content and finished files
Your prompts, documents, HTML slides, edits, brand kit and exported PowerPoint or PDF stay in your browser or wherever you save them—on your laptop or your organization's network. Material you put into your separate AI tool remains subject to that tool's policies.

Your laptop does the work. You keep control.
“In your browser” means on the computer running it, usually your laptop. Editing and conversion send no file to unPaper or another processing service. There is no upload wait, server queue or per-export limit. Speed and capacity depend on your device and the deck.
You decide where to save and share the results. unPaper receives no presentation content to use for AI training and runs no AI itself. The AI you use separately remains governed by your organization's approval and its provider's terms.
A test you can repeat
Test local editing and conversion yourself.
Both slide editing and PowerPoint conversion run as code in your browser, executed by the machine it is running on—usually your laptop. Your file does not travel to a server for either task. Prepare Offline session, disconnect, then edit and convert the harmless sample below without using company material.

- 2Prepare Offline session from the header, then activate it or disconnect the device.
- 3Open the sample through AI reply, edit a slide and save the HTML while offline.
- 4Open Convert, convert the sample to PowerPoint while offline, then open the saved file.
Scope: this checks that unPaper can edit and convert the sample without a connection. It does not prove the security or data handling of the separate AI tool you use. For the online comparison, repeat with the browser Network inspector open and examine each request.

Adopting unPaper across a team?
An individual may use an Offline session free, including at work. Organised company adoption requires a licence; private deployment, including air-gapped operation, needs a separate agreement.
