Alder Works is a fictional software company presenting a six-week internal support pilot. All people, quotations and results in this example are invented to demonstrate the layouts.
What each slide does
- 01CoverAn expansive left-aligned title on black, a small label and the speaker below.
- 02TodayAn open numbered agenda with three short chapter titles.
- 03The problemA large centred claim and one supporting sentence.
- 04ContextOne short paragraph on an otherwise open slide.
- 05BaselineOne oversized number, a precise unit and sample context.
- 06The workflowAn inverse chapter slide with a small label and a centred claim.
- 07The routeFour line icons and short labels, joined by fine arrows in an open process.
- 08The partsThree generous outlined boxes with line icons, linked by arrows. Each box names one responsibility.
- 09BoundariesTwo plain text columns with a clear distinction.
- 10Ground rulesThree unboxed columns with short headings and one explanation each.
- 11One exampleA concise explanation beside a high-contrast, editable code sample.
- 12Human reviewA short statement on black, creating a pause before the decision diagram.
- 13The handoffOne question branches through labelled arrows to two outlined outcomes. Keep labels outside the connectors.
- 14What changedA second inverse chapter slide, using the same geometry as the first.
- 15Pilot resultOne native chart with two labelled values and a large takeaway beside it.
- 16EvidenceA native table with a few readable rows and minimal rules.
- 17A voiceOne centred quotation, with a small attribution underneath.
- 18The pilotThree phases on a fine horizontal rule with arrowheads. Use time labels, short actions and one condition per phase.
- 19TakeawaysThree tall outlined panels, each with a small number and a bottom-aligned takeaway.
- 20DiscussionAn open canvas with a title and footer for a live example or demonstration.
- 21Free canvasAn entirely empty body, without even a title. The LLM designs its own composition here using the deck's typography, icons, arrows and palette; retain the footer.
- 22Thank youA black closing with a large thank-you on the left and two replaceable circular portraits with names on the right.
- 23AppendixAn understated appendix divider for material outside the spoken talk.
- 24MethodTwo open columns covering definitions and limitations.
What makes it work
- Give each slide one idea and leave room for the speaker to explain it.
- Use centred statements, short supporting lines and generous empty space.
- Reserve inverse section slides for a change of chapter or an important claim.
- Use simple flows, native tables and labelled charts when the evidence needs them.
- Use thin line icons to identify a source, person or action. Arrows show direction; boxes group related content.
- Alternate open white layouts with black opening, metric, chapter, quotation and closing slides. Keep one type scale and consistent margins.
- Keep the default black and white. If a company brand kit is chosen, follow its colours and fonts.
- Use original words and the company's own identity. Keep event and vendor logos out of the example.
