Brand a deck
Use this when decks have to look like they came from your company rather than from a template.
Five ways in
- Drop your logo. A whole kit is made on the device in a fraction of a second: colours, type, shapes, masters and chart colours. Start here if you have nothing else.
- From your PowerPoint. Drop a deck your company already uses; the kit is captured from its masters.
- With your own AI. Copy the company prompt, let your AI describe the format, paste the answer back.
- From a look. Start from one of unPaper's looks and make it yours.
- A saved kit. Every kit you saved is listed with its cover and logo; one is marked In use and shapes every new deck.
Steps
- Open the brand kit and pick a way in.
- Shape the kit. The studio shows the whole deck as a live wall; every palette, font, shape and layout previews on hover, and you save exactly what you see.
- Check the stress test. Every master is re-tested on each change with worst-case content — a long title, seven bullets, a long footer — so a gap shows here rather than halfway through a real deck.
- Save. Templates draw in your kit, Create names it, and My decks says which kit each deck wears and when a deck is out of date with it.
Shaping a master by hand
Under Slides, every master offers Shape it in the editor. The slide opens as a deck of its own with the kit's colours as named styles; Use as the cover master in the editor takes it back into the kit.
What you end up with
A company format stored in your browser, which every prompt, deck and PowerPoint
follows. It can also be exported as a .potx theme for PowerPoint.
Gotchas
- It stays on this machine. A kit is browser storage, like everything else here. To move it, share it as a link: the kit travels inside the link itself, about a kilobyte, and never touches a server.
- Test the whole deck, not the cover. A kit that looks right on a title slide can still have an unreadable table. The stress test exists for that.
- Fonts. A font installed on your colleagues' computers looks the same everywhere; where it is missing, a close standard font stands in.
