Update a deck

Use this when a deck is 90% right. Regenerating from scratch re-rolls the parts you liked; this changes only what you point at.

Steps

1. Open Update and load your deck.
2. Click a slide to preview it, and type what should change. The first keystroke marks that slide as one you want revised.
3. Copy the request and paste it into your assistant.
4. Paste the reply back. Only the slides you marked are spliced in; the rest of the file is untouched, byte for byte.

What you end up with

The same file with new slides in place — same styles, same numbering, same everything you did not ask about.

Gotchas

• Be specific per slide. "Make it punchier" gets you a coin flip. "Cut to three bullets, lead with the number" gets you the slide.
• Splicing beats regenerating for anything under about a third of the deck. Past that, a fresh generation with a better brief is usually faster.
