Import from PowerPoint
Use this when the deck already exists in PowerPoint and you want an AI to help you rework it, or you simply want it as a file that opens anywhere.
Steps
- Drop the
.pptxor.ppton the importer. - Look at the result: every slide rendered as self-contained HTML — shapes, text, tables, charts with their data, speaker notes — measured against PowerPoint's own output.
- Work on it with your assistant, or open it in the editor and export it again.
What you end up with
Structured, AI-readable HTML instead of a binary a model can only guess at. Options let you append the slide masters and layouts, and keep the original file inside the HTML as an archive.
Gotchas
- Old
.pptfiles open too. PowerPoint 97–2003 files are read in the browser and rebuilt as a current.pptxyou can download. Only OpenDocument (.odp) still needs the command line, where a local LibreOffice converts it. - A faithful import is not a redesign. You get the deck as it is; for the unPaper look or your brand kit, hand the HTML to your AI with a template or kit prompt.
